Lesson Procedure
-Explain what attention(depth and detail of processing) involves. -Tell children they need to put on their listening ears. Listen to all instructions. -Begin by folding paper into 8 parts together with class. -Number the squares together left to right 1-4 and 5-8. Reminder:Listen carefully.
1. In box 3 make a capital and lowercase Zz in green.
2. In box 6 draw a purple rectangle.
Continue through 8 commands.
-In the beginning, see how they did by going over answers together.
-The children enjoy this because it a little different and they can see how much better they become, the more we do the exercise.
-More sophisticated commands may be used according to the chidren's age and developmental level.
