The key to a successful Schools Attuned Program is the quality of its
facilitators. The team of Schools Attuned facilitators consists of nearly 500
highly qualified professionals who work with participants throughout the
yearlong course. Facilitators engage in a week-long Schools Attuned Facilitator
Development Academy (SAFDA), followed by ongoing learning, support, and
evaluation. All candidates are reviewed by Schools Attuned staff and SAFDA
facilitators throughout each stage of the facilitator training.
Admission to SAFDA is by invitation-only. Candidates are identified and
recommended by other experienced facilitators. Qualifications include: a strong
knowledge base of the Schools Attuned Program content; experience implementing
the Program in their professional practice and a high degree of constructivist
facilitation skills.
Our facilitators continually strive to advance along the continuum from novice
to expert, always reflecting upon and refining facilitation skills to best meet
participant needs.
The Schools Attuned Online Web site contains valuable access-only information
for Facilitators including Curriculum updates, professional development
opportunities, and a facilitation discussion forum.
